-My NaNo word count is 6854. I’m finally ahead of where I need to be in order to finish by the end of the month.
-My birthday is in twenty days! I love my birthday! I like celebrating that I’ve been given another year of life.
-There was snow this weekend, but it wasn’t too terrible. Plus, the snow covered trees were super pretty.
-Sleep.
-Clean bathrooms.
-Being able to see.

And, in case you haven’t noticed…sleep. I’m headed to bed after being awake for 34.5 hours.
This afternoon I got a call, and during the conversation I was asked, “How would you like to be able to go home for Thanksgiving?” All I could do in response was cry and mumble through my tears, “I’d…really *sniff*…likethat.”
In less than a month I’ll be home.
Things have been so overwhelming these last few weeks, just knowing that I’ll get to be home for Thanksgiving and my birthday suddenly made things seem a little less overwhelming. I just gotta get through the next 29 days.
I can do this.
-Getting good sleep.
-It’s less than two months until The Hobbit.
-Reading a really good book.
-Going book shopping.
-Watching the northern lights.
-It’s a new week.
-There’s less than a month left of political ads being everywhere.
-Not having to go on insulin.
-The snow we had last week melted pretty quickly.
Okay, I’m out for the night, I’ve got a giant test in the morning.
Okay, I’m not going to lie. I’ve been feeling a bit down in the dumps this week. A combination of things just put me in a funk, and to top it off I ended the week with what I’m assuming is either a mild case of food poisoning or the flu. This led to me not wanting to write a happy list tonight. However, the whole reason I started the Sunday night happy list was to remind myself of all the things (big, small, or completely pointless) that I’m thankful for. So, onto the list…
-Clean showers. Living in a co-ed dorm, using a shower that so many other people use, I’ve gained a new respect for the clean shower at home. At home, I don’t have to worry about what nasty, unknown bacteria is lurking in the shower with me.
-Clean water. There’s really no logic to this one, other than the fact that as I was trying to hydrate today it really hit home that having clean water is an incredible gift.
-The return of fall t.v. I admit it, I’m a couch potato.
-This is my 61st post. I’m really excited that I’ve managed to post something everyday since I set out on this blogging journey. I don’t exactly have a good track record when it comes to sticking with things I start.
-Having hair. Even though my hair is ridiculously frustrating, I really appreciate that I have hair.
-Good friends who you can say or do anything in front of and they still love you.
-Cheetos
–Castle and Big Bang Theory start this week!
-The Emmy’s have been ridiculously boring, but the Big Bang Theory sketch was pretty entertaining.
-There’s still no snow!
-Having a whiteboard calendar.
-Being able to read.
-Being able to go to college.
-That I’ve been gifted with nearly 28 years of life.
-All the people that are near and dear to me. I’m not good at telling people how important they are to me, and how much they have impacted my life.
-Making a new friend.
-Watching a really good movie that I haven’t seen in a while and being reminded why I liked it so much.
-For the first time in my life I don’t feel wishy-washy about whether or not I’m in the right degree program.
-Getting a philly at late night.
-Being able to avoid political ads.
-Living on a schedule.
-Not having to be dependent on anyone else for my own happiness.
-Having teachers that actually want me to think for myself and not just vomit back to them what they think.
-Having friends to be homesick with.
-Reading fun things for class.
-Being able to sleep with the windows open.
-Mini Oreos and milk.
–M*A*S*H on t.v.
-Being able to walk.
-Being able to Skype with family and friends who are hundreds of miles away.
-Being able to read.
-Peace and quiet.
-Having a job that doesn’t feel like work.
-Beautiful art.
