I considered titling this post What have I done????, but I felt that might come across as lacking in confidence, and apparently that’s a bad thing when you’re starting something new.
I’ve started a podcast. I just released the second episode today. I’m not gonna lie and say it’s the greatest thing out there, but I think it’s a little bit entertaining. It’s available on iTunes and Google Play (so you should be able to pull it up on any podcast app like Podcast Republic) under the title Any Second Now. You can also access it here: Any Second Now. I’d appreciate anyone taking the 20-ish minutes out of their day to go and listen to it and subscribe. I know the first few episodes may be a bit rough around the edges, but it’s only going to get better!
Hi, Miss Malia, I haven’t been keeping up with you as much as I’d like to, so I just got a whole bunch of news in your last two or three entries. Lots of news from you, lots of changes — and — I just want to say: “GOOD FOR YOU!” Do what is right (underline!) for you. (underline!) I was surprised to learn that you’d quit your job, but I can relate only too well as to why. I’m glad that you listened to yourself instead of “how is this going to look to everyone on the outside?” and all the other social pressure that comes to bear on a young woman. I think you were brave and did what you needed to do — to make yourself happy. You will find another place to work if you need to, and if you don’t have to, I bet your whole home will be a happy place now that you have time and energy to spend in it! Much love to you, and The Boy and The Cat of Large Marmalade!
